Take a look at the potential advancement at College Works Painting:

YEAR 1 - INTERN

Interns run a CWP branch with 2-8 employees with targeted revenues from $40,000 – $250,000.

YEAR 2 - EXEC INTERN

Executive interns are given more responsibilities and a large marketing budget to grow the size and efficiency of their business. Targeted revenues range from $80,000 - $300,000.

YEAR 5 - CO-VICE PRESIDENT / VICE PRESIDENT

In addition to district manager responsibilities, general managers can run a campus or team of 2-4 district managers. General managers can be responsible for up to $2 million dollars in targeted revenue and typically have obtained their college degree.

BREAKDOWN OF A JOB.

You are paid $10/hr for every hour worked, and can earn a bonus for every hour the job is completed under budget.

Straight Rate: $10/hr                        Bonus Rate: $12/hr

For Example (40 hour budgeted job):

Labor Budget - $12/hr x 40 = $480

STRAIGHT RATE AND BUDGET BONUS EXAMPLE.

Completed in 35 hours:
35 x $10/hr = $350 + $130 budget bonus = $480
$480/35 hours worked = $13.71/hour

Completed in 45 hours:
45 x $10/hr = $450 + $30 budget bonus = $480
$480/45 hours worked = $10.67/hour

*Painters always make minimum of straight rate, but when the labor paid exceeds the budget the job is considered over budget. Painters who are consistently over budget are subject to termination for poor performance.

Completed in 40 hours:
40 x $10/hr = $400 + $80 budget bonus = $480
$480/40 hours worked = $12.00/hour

Completed in 50 hours:
50 x $10/hr = $500 + $0 budget bonus = $500
$500/50 hours worked = $10.00/hour

Completed in 30 hours:
30 hours x $10/hr = $300 + $180 budget bonus = $480
$480/30 hours worked = $16.00/hour
